Community Markets
The Calliope Community Markets are held on the 4th Sunday of each month (except for December, January, February, and September) 8.00am to 12 noon at Chapman Park (Calliope Rodeo Grounds) Taragoola Rd. Calliope.
There are a variety of market stalls ranging from fruit and veg, poultry, plants, arts and craft, cakes, and jams, coffee, and ice cream vans. A canteen operates serving the best bacon and egg rolls, sausage sizzle and chicken or savory mince rolls in town. Entry is by gold coin donation. Join us in a friendly family atmosphere at the Calliope community markets. Yes, your dogs are welcome, but please ensure they are on a lead.
